Have you always wanted to see the stunning interiors of beautiful lakeside homes? Paddle a kayak or ride in our trolley to see 3 magnificent homes on Newaygo’s famous chain of lakes! The tour will begin at Camp Newaygo and meander through Lake Pickerel, the picturesque channel, and Lake Emerald with two small plate tastings featured at each home.

Guests are welcome to bring their own kayak, rent one from camp, or ride in our trolley. We will get started at 1pm on Sunday with boats launching from Camp Newaygo throughout the afternoon. Maps and passes for the houses will be provided as well. The trolley will leave promptly at 1:30pm.

Registration for this year’s event is now closed. We hope you are able to join us next year!

Featured Homes

Former Cooper’s Inn Restaurant is a spectacular residence that preserved a local institution by transforming it into a family cottage with endless views of Lake Pickerel. A wrap-around porch that previously hosted countless patrons now plays host to smaller dinner crowds and autumn Euchre tournaments. Every room follows a quirky, cottage-chic style with original woodwork and built-ins throughout.

Old Dam Inn is nestled on a peaceful bend of the channel connecting lakes Pickerel and Emerald. This copper-clad, salt-box style home can host large groups with 8 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Private suites feature names like “The Crow’s Nest” and “Raptor’s Roost.” The spacious kitchen has two of every appliance tucked into a retro, industrial theme. At every turn, there are relaxing nooks to enjoy a fall day. With something for everyone, there is even a lava lamp room.

Go Green, Go White House will appeal to both Spartans and Wolverines. With three levels of living space facing the water, Lake Emerald can be enjoyed from every room of the house. Designed for large family gatherings, the open floor plan includes an expansive dining space with a built-in restaurant booth for the kids to enjoy. There is also an amazing rec room with plenty of games to play and a bunk house with 10 bunks-plenty of space for the whole family.
