If you’re looking to get active or reduce stress, consider our Tai Chi class at Camp Newaygo in the new Health and Leadership Lodge.
Hosted by the Safe Routes to Health Rec-Connect program, Tai Chi was originally developed for self-defense purposes and evolved into a form of exercise for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. It is a low impact form of exercise and is great for people of all ages!
Come join us in practicing Tai Chi at Camp Newaygo on March 16 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and again on April 27 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. All ability levels welcome for this drop-in class. No registration fee required but donations are welcome.
Safe Routes to Health is an AmeriCorps program administered by the Michigan Fitness Foundation (MFF). Using a multigenerational approach to reach across an entire community, SR2H will connect citizens to health, wellness, and physical activity programs in five Michigan counties: Berrien, Chippewa, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Wayne.
