Gather your girlfriends for an all-inclusive weekend filled with relaxation and fun. Spend the night in our campy chic dorms – which are heated and cooled – just a few steps away from our restrooms and showers. Sign up to be pampered with an on-site massage, manicure, or pedicure. Enjoy crafts, waterfront time, hikes, great food, and beautiful facilities in a wooded setting with awesome women.

October 2- October 4, 2020

We know families need camp more than ever, which is why we are committed to reshaping our  programs to address COVID-19, while allowing us to provide our mission of service to children and families.

Cost: $230 for all camp programs, meals, and lodging

Pre-Camp Requirements

We are asking participants to partner with us to help mitigate as much risk as possible. There are four actions women need to take prior to camp arrival:

1. Complete Pre-Camp Screening Document – Please download, print, and complete THIS FORM daily for 1 week (7 days) prior to your arrival at camp. This form will be required at check-in.
2. All participants must arrive at camp without using public transit (airplane, train), and we ask that participants limit travel and social interactions 14 days prior to the session. Please follow all Michigan State Guidelines regarding COVID-19.
3. Let camp know what group you are coming with, and what lodging space(s) you would prefer. (email campbiz@campnewaygo.org)
4. Please be prepared for program changes, including a temperature screening, and masks whenever in indoor common spaces (when not eating) and whenever unable to maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet from someone outside of your group.

A COVID-Careful Program

Our Girlfriend’s Get-a-Way will provide a schedule designed to keep friend groups together, and socially distant from other friend groups. Participant will still have activity choices – swimming, crafts, cooking, ropes course, hikes, fitness, and more!

Meals will be served cafeteria-style, by our Servsafe Certified kitchen staff. Seating will be assigned by friend groups across two large dining areas, exceeding requirements set by the CDC and the American Camp Association.

Please bring a mask with you for each day. Participants will need to wear a mask whenever in indoor common spaces (when not eating) and whenever unable to maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet from someone outside of your friend group.

Upon arrival at camp, please stay in your vehicle until you complete a temperature check. If anyone in the vehicle has a temperature over 99.4, participants will be asked to leave, with the possibility a refund for the session, minus the deposit.
We are confident that the systems we have built for a successful summer camp season will help us continue to provide a COVID-Careful program for participants.
