Giving Back at Camp Newaygo
Friday–Saturday, March 13–14
Help us kick off Camp Newaygo’s 100th Anniversary by rolling up your sleeves and giving back to the place that has given so much to so many. Join us for a two day volunteer work weekend focused on restoring well loved indoor spaces across camp. This is an adults only volunteer event. Participants must be 18 or older.
Come for one day or both. There is no cost to participate.
What to Expect
This service weekend will focus on hands on indoor facility refresh and repair projects in support of Camp Newaygo’s 100th Anniversary. Projects include sanding, painting, cleaning, light repairs, and furniture restoration. Many of the benches and chairs we will be working on have been part of camp for decades, including pieces built in 1967.
How to Register
To RSVP, email jalisa@campnewaygo.org. Please include which day or days you plan to attend, whether you will stay overnight, lodging preference, and any dietary needs.
