Facilities

Camp Newaygo

Over 200 acres, located on a chain of inland lakes, Camp Newaygo’s facilities are incredible.  With over one mile of sunset view waterfront, a private island to paddle to, and a  two-mile loop accessible nature boardwalk – our natural resources are complemented by our indoor spaces.

We can sleep 300 between our seasonal cabins and year-round lodging. We have 9 rustic cabins from the 1930’s, and four outpost units (tree houses, canvas tents, a loft).

Our three main lodges offer meeting spaces and year-round options for rentals and retreats.

Lang Lodge

Renovated in 2009, our largest year-round building features two large rooms overlooking the lake, lodging in communal dorms, and large restroom facilities. Lang lodge is fully accessible, with an elevator and a patio overlooking the lake, perfect for a wedding ceremony. This is where the main office is also located.

Peggie Stone Center

Renovated in 2018, this year-round building shows the charm of the 1940’s updated for a new decade. With two meeting rooms and a bathroom, this is an ideal facility for groups of 50 or less. In the summer, this center serves as our Arts and Crafts shop, with a pottery studio, kiln, and dark room photography studio.

HEALTH & LEADERSHIP LODGE

Completed in 2018, this lodge overlooks our beautiful wetland property. With 11 private hotel-style bedrooms, this building can be rented as a space for small groups, families, or wedding parties. Serving as our Health Center in the summer months, the building includes a state-of-the-art treatment center, helping us continue our mission of inclusivity. The upstairs meeting space, wrap around deck, screen porch, and four-season sun room can be perfect breakout spaces for your event. This building also houses our Adventure Tripping gear, the costume closet, and a private patio with a firepit.
