SHEF Series-Dinners on the Ridge

This summer, Ridge Specialties and Camp Newaygo are excited to welcome the community back to our Dinners on the Ridge Summer Series. In celebrating 95 years as the community’s camp as well as our history of opportunities for girls and women, we are bringing an all-star line up of female chefs to collaborate with Ridge Specialties for each evening.

August’s Dinner is presented by Shef  Kim Ryan! A Traverse City native, Kim studied hospitality at Michigan State and attended the Culinary Institute of Michigan. She has vast experience in the restaurant industry including being a winning chef on Gordon Ramsay’s “Hell’s Kitchen.” She is now back in her hometown operating her own Lucky Cook Catering company and working at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.


Every fantastically catered dinner will begin seating at 6:30pm on the Ridge Patio overlooking Pickerel Lake. Cost for dinner and entertainment is $29.95 or $170 for a table of 6. Mark your calendar for June 26th, July 24th, and August 21st. Pre-registration for each dinner is required. All events will follow current health department recommendations to create a COVID-Careful Experience.
