Looking for something fun to do, close to home this winter? Camp Newaygo is hosting fun, hands-on, and affordable workshops every Thursday this winter. Starting in January, come to camp at 5:30 pm on Thursday for tasting and making freezer meals, exploring different art mediums, learning a handy how-to skill, or discovering all that is still happening in nature during the winter. For just $10 per person, it’s less than a trip to the movies or into the “big city” and you’ll gain new skills and friends!
How-To Workshops

Liliana, Camp’s Adventure Program Director, has learned a number of how-to skills working at camp and is excited to share them with you! We will explore a common household challenge and “how-to” fix or improve an issue. Don’t miss this chance to learn a practical skill in a supportive environment.
January 23rd: Home Maintenance. How to install a washer/dryer, installing vinyl wood flooring, and fixing a leaky faucet.
February 20th: Auto Maintenance. How to change your oil, change a tire, and check all your fluids.
March 20th: Outside Maintenance. Tree Care, Using power tools, and more!
