A Customized Experience for every group

We don’t work off a set template for your field trip or overnight visit. Each school and youth organization is unique and deserves an experience that meets their needs. Our professional staff work with you to design a schedule and pick activities to meet your goals for your visit. Are you looking to focus on nature and the environment?  Teambuilding?  Recreation?  A little bit of everything? We build a program with you that meets your needs and integrates our experiential education practices, ensuring your students have a great time learning and growing outdoors.

Some of the Activities available at Camp Newaygo

Your students can study water samples, climb on the ropes course, and canoe on Lake Pickerel. Our activity offerings range from options at the waterfront, recreation, arts, large group games, outdoor skills and environmental science. Our science classes meet national standards. Zip Line

Camp Newaygo’s new Zip Line Canopy Tour is a three zip line course through the wooded canopy. The zip lines total 1,000 feet, is 90 feet in the air, and participants can expect to go over 20 miles an hour! There is an additional cost per student for the zip line.

Sample Schedule

Many activities vary in their suggested time. We will help build a schedule that meets all of your goals. A typical schedule has 2-3 activity periods before lunch, 2-3 activity periods (AP) after lunch, and one evening program after dinner. Working with when you plan to arrive and how long your stay is, we will cater to the needs and goals of your group.

Youth Group Pricing

Our school and youth group pricing starts at $20 per person for a half day and $40 per person for a full day with complimentary participation for teachers and reduced rates for chaperones. Our professional staff work with you to develop and deliver a great visit! Meals are also available at reduced, youth group rates.
